Mining, Landfill & Industry

Service profile

Stabilization and reclamation alongside active operations.

Stabilization, dust control and staged reclamation carried out alongside active operations — without waiting for closure. SRBT develops integrated concepts that bring operational requirements and regulatory conditions into a single plan. All formulations are fully biodegradable.

Stabilization while the site is still working.

Sub-area reclamation to a plan.

Alongside operations

This is the key difference from conventional reclamation: SRBT does not wait until operations end — the work runs in parallel. Completed sub-areas are reclaimed while others are still in production. Dust control and erosion protection on active areas reduce ongoing emission and liability risks.

All formulations are fully biodegradable — no conflict with later reclamation work, and nothing entering leachate or groundwater. Soil classified for disposal purposes retains its classification: the formulations do not alter its disposal status.

Staged reclamation

SRBT coordinates system selection and application timing with the operating schedule. Phytostabilization on heavy-metal-contaminated sub-areas reduces dust discharge and leachate loads without expensive soil remediation. Full reclamation follows at closure, in line with the permit conditions.

Fields of application

Project types in extraction, landfill and industry.

Dust control on working areas & haul roads

Hydraulically applied polymer suspensions for haul roads, working floors and active heap surfaces. Dimensioned for the dust management plan of the operating site.

Slope stabilization on active heaps

Temporary erosion protection on heap surfaces that have not yet been finally profiled. Formulations are biodegradable, so there is no conflict with later reclamation.

Landfills & contaminated sites

Surface sealing with erosion control and vegetation establishment. All formulations fully biodegradable — no leachate risk. Application without affecting the sealing layer.

Phytostabilization of heavy-metal-contaminated land

Deliberate establishment of tolerant plant communities to immobilize heavy metals. Reduces dust discharge and leachate loads without soil remediation.

Soil stockpiles & interim storage

Temporary dust control and erosion protection on stockpiled soil. Soil classified for disposal purposes retains its classification — the formulations do not change its disposal status.

Final reclamation

Full reclamation after closure — substrate assessment, pedogenesis methods and vegetation establishment in line with the permit conditions and the target vegetation.

Our approach

Operations and reclamation as one integrated plan.

01
Operational analysis & system planning

Operating phases, the status of each sub-area, contaminant loads and the constraints of the site are recorded. System selection and application timing are matched to the operating schedule.

02
Staged execution

Dust control on active areas, erosion protection on heap surfaces and phytostabilization on contaminated sub-areas — alongside production, with no interruption to operations.

03
Documentation & regulatory evidence

Full project documentation. Evidence for the authorities, material data for every component, and monitoring of vegetation development.
