SRBT selects hydroseeders around the application, not as a stand-alone machine purchase. Material viscosity, fiber content, pumping distance, terrain, required output and intended applications determine which hydroseeder configuration is technically appropriate.
The terms hydroseeder and hydroseeding machine are often used interchangeably, but the machines can differ substantially in mixing method, pump architecture and material-handling capability. Gear-pump hydroseeders use positive displacement and are generally suited to controlled delivery of more viscous mixtures. Centrifugal-pump hydroseeders can provide high flow rates and efficient circulation, but their performance depends more strongly on pressure, pumping distance and slurry characteristics. The complete hydroseeder design remains more important than the pump type alone.
This equipment structure covers hydroseeding, hydraulic seeding, hydromulching and contractor qualification, with dust-control and soil-stabilization equipment planned.
