Company history

Built on practice — not on a catalogue.

The SRBT management team has worked together since 2009 — initially under various company constellations that grew over the years with new fields of application and increasing specialization. What began as contracting work developed step by step towards formulation development, simulation tools and eventually its own research and development.

In 2024 the revegetation business was brought together in SRBT. Formulation development, simulation tools and planning services in bio soil engineering are supported by SRBT's internal R&D capacities.

2009

The collaboration begins

What would become the management team starts working together in this field — contracting, first formulation developments and the build-up of field test experience across different climate zones.

2022

The idea behind GASBE

Recognizing that hands-on expertise in the sector is structurally underdeveloped, the idea of an international network of experienced practitioners takes shape. SRBT's managing director is closely involved from the outset.

2024

SRBT is founded

The revegetation business is brought together in SRBT, including development, simulation tools and planning services for bio soil engineering.

Substrate, aspect, gradient, load class, climate zone and the constraints of the site determine the formulation and the method.

Biopolymer class, mineral component, fiber system, seed and additives are configured for the project.

SRBT is a founding member of GASBE — the Global Alliance of Soil Bioengineering Experts — an international professional network of contractors specializing in revegetation, soil stabilization and vegetation technology. A maximum of one member per region. Material producers are deliberately excluded.
